LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR, Central London 'top 21' accountancy / consulting firm, c £70 - 80k base (experience dependent) + excellent professional services corporate package.
This is a new role which will support the Managing Director in planning and executing the HR Consultancy team's strategy, overseeing design and delivery of L&D programmes, management / leadership development programmes and team facilitation work to a wide range of Private and Public sector Clients.
Degree qualified, you will be a member (and ideally a fellow) of the CIPD, with experience of providing L&D advice, of designing / delivering innovative solutions and an understanding of leading models and approaches in the sector. You will be a proven Relationship builder with a strong Client focus, able to identify agendas / needs quickly and with good Networking skills, proactive in identifying new opportunities, a talented Team leader / delegator with strong 'staff' / proposal writing and solution review skills who can orchestrate task focused collaboration and planning across different parts of the business with credibility. You will be approachable and thoroughly professional, with solid experience of identifying and facilitating the career development needs of staff and of ensuring and documenting high professional standards. You must be capable of keeping abreast of legislation in the sector, of modifying the firm's offerings accordingly and ensuring such changes are followed through at all levels.
The firm has expressed interest in considering appropriately qualified ex-military Officers for this role provided they have had comparable L&D experience in the services; indicatively with high grade SO1 / SO2 level staff experience.
